The first of two short films available from March 2017. Created by Masquerade youth group, OUT shows the story of Alex, a young teen who was outed as being gay. Addressing issues of confidentiality and mental health, this short insight was created from the experiences of local young people.

The second of our short films, Girl follows the story of Sam, who identifies as male, but is seen by the rest of the world as a girl called Jess.

Looking for a way to challenge the stereotypes they are plagued with on a daily basis, Masquerade came up with the DOES GENDER MATTER? photo exhibition. With support from our partners and supporters, they planned out a series of images to combat prejudice based on gender stereotypes.
